Abstract

This tutorial reviews post dural puncture headaches (PDPH), a complication of spinal and epidural anesthesia. The pathogenesis, diagnosis, prevention, and management of PDPH is covered, including pharmacological treatments, epidural blood patches, and the emerging sphenopalatine ganglion block.
