Abstract

The current tutorial describes the role of extended preoperative evaluation, cognitive prehabilitation, intraoperative strategies and ways to prevent and manage postoperative neurocognitive disorders.

It mainly focuses on controversies in the literature and highlights the current practice guidelines.
