Abstract

This tutorial discusses the potential advantages and disadvantages of non-intubated video-assisted thoracic surgery (NIVATS). It covers the perioperative anaesthetic management of NIVATS, including patient selection, preanaesthetic assessment, intraoperative management and approaches to potential intraoperative crises.
