Abstract

The tutorial covers anatomy and physiology of the pancreas and the pathophysiology and perioperative management of patients with pancreatic adenocarcinoma and neuroendocrine tumours. Risk stratification, management of preoperative anaemia and role of enhanced recovery programme for Whipple’s procedure are discussed.
