Covid- 19 Principles of airway management

Abstract

This webpage openly shares an airway management infographic incorporating infection control procedures to reduce the transmission of Covid-19. Based on the extensive experience managing patients with SARS at the Prince of Wales Hospital, subsequent research, and literature review, coupled with iterative systems testing through simulation, we have developed the following airway management infographic for use at our institution during the Covid-19 outbreak. To assist other units to develop their own guidelines and processes, we have made our infographic freely available for download. In collaboration with various centres around the world, the infographic has been translated into Albanian, Arabic, Dutch, Farsi, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Polish, Portuguese, Serbian, Simplified Chinese, Spanish, Thai, Traditional Chinese, Turkish and Vietnamese.
