This autumn, a public television documentary, produced with ASA as part of the Viewpoint series “Commitment to Care” and featuring actor Dennis Quaid, will air on PBS stations. The programme showcases ASA Immediate Past President Dr Ron Harter, ASA Treasurer Dr Crystal Wright, and Anaesthesiology Editor-in-Chief Dr James Rathmell. It explores how anaesthesiology has revolutionised medicine, the specialty’s dedication to patient safety, and advancements beyond the operating theatre.
